Presented by Tanya Olick RD, LD & Self-Care Coach Maressa Rahn
The Vineyard Wine Bar & Healthy Bistro
4848 S Apopka Vineland Rd
Orlando, FL 32819
Join us for an information-packed Lunch & Learn Seminar on two critical areas of self-care: nutrition and physical wellness. Learn about plant-based protein sources you’ll enjoy incorporating into your meals. Gain insights on how to incorporate more movement in your daily life. Includes family-style lunch and a juice or a mimosa.
Thinking of adding a few plant-based meals to your week? This seminar will take some of the mystery out of plant-based meal planning! Plant-based nutrition can certainly provide all of the nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed to maintain a healthy body and mind.
Also learn how to train your brain and body to work better together and become more mindful of your body’s everyday motion. You will learn techniques and simple movement exercises to help you move more efficiently, increase your flexibility and more. You’ll gain insights on the basic science of movement training: how the brain-body connection can improve your overall motion, pain management and physical performance.

With the belief that “life is movement; movement is life,” Self-Care Coach Maressa Rahn is committed to improving people’s quality of life through movement training. She is a certified specialist in the fields of movement performance, exercise therapy, movement integration and movement re-education. Movement training combines evidence-based biomechanical and neuroscience approaches to correct movement dysfunction and maximize range of motion. Our modern lifestyle and technologies have come at a cost to our bodies. There are parts of us that are not getting the needed daily dose of movement required for long-term mobility, balance, coordination and brain-body connection. With the body and brain being so intricately connected, when we activate the body through movement, we activate the brain. When a body part doesn’t get the required movement, we are also not activating the parts of the brain that are connected to these parts. Over time we gradually lose our brain connection to these parts. Restoring movement of all your parts restores your mobility and re-engages parts of the brain that are connected to these body parts.
Discovery Hub education seminars spotlight ways to live everyday life smarter. Taught by top professionals in their fields, they are presented by The Vineyard Wine Bar & Healthy Bistro and Vitality Center Orlando.
