Your Educational Team
Maressa Rahn is a Body-Brain Connection and Self-Care Coach. Her coaching combines four decades of experience working with the body while grafting knowledge of the brain, stress and basic human behavior. She has extensive knowledge and understanding of how stresses on the body affect the brain and stresses of the brain affect the body. She believes that a “healthy me, mind and body,” is the best gift she can give to those she cares about. She believes that her state of being can empower others to do the same.
Saadia Alvi, MD
Board Certified Specialist
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Dr. Alvi believes in the power of conventional evidence-based medicine partnered with lifestyle medical approaches to treat, manage and prevent endocrine-based conditions. After 13 years of practice, she opened her direct care membership practice, Vitality Endocrinology, to help her patients actively pursue better health. As a plant-based endocrinologist, Dr. Alvi takes endocrine treatment to a more in-depth level of encompassing health, emphasizing a partnership between her and her patients for optimum health now and into the future.
Charlotte Charfen, MD
Dr. Charlotte Charfen is an American Board of Emergency Medicine certified ER physician with nearly 20 years of clinical practice in the field of life and death. She has spent much of her career on the front lines, fighting to save lives. She was trained at one of the most intense residency programs in Detroit, Michigan. She is co-owner of the Oakland Manor House. She lives in Hawaii, spending her days coaching, consulting and empowering others.
